Floral Happiness without the floral...

Here's a card we made this month with the March Stamp of the Month.  I wasn't so crazy about the flowers in the stamp set, so I used the words.

I love the Just Blooms Paper Shapes - Floret (Z1764, $5.95).  You get 68 different pieces...flowers of different sizes, shapes and patterns in Autumn Terracotta, Cranberry and Sorbet, and leaves in Olive (also different patterns).

Here's the Stamp of the Month, in case you missed it.  You can only get it through the end of this month, so don't wait!  If you want to check out the March Stamp of the Month Bloghop (my 2/28 blog post), CLICK HERE to see what other consultants have done with the set.  It's pretty fun!  btw, we do the Bloghop at the beginning of every month, so check back to see what's up with April's Stamp of the Month.

For the little patterned rectangles I used the very cute In The Background stamp set.  I can't wait to create something with the other stamps in the set.

Also, my latest favorite thing to do with the Baker's Twine is that "X" on the front of the card.  I just think it adds a lot.  :)

Supplies Used:
March Stamp of the Month - Floral Happiness (S1303, $17.95 or just $5 with your $50 purchase, available during March 2013 only)
In the Background (D1540, $17.95)
Card Stock:  Smoothie, Champagne, White Daisy
Ink Colors:  Honey, Sweet Leaf, Chocolate, Champagne (for edge sponging)
Just Blooms - Paper Shapes - Floret (Z1764, $5.95)
Baker's Twine - Paradise Assortment (Z1702, $4.95)
Glue Dots
Foam Mounting Tape
Bigger Brads (Colonial White - Retired)

I also did a variation with a Color-Ready Accent - Garden Wooden Shapes, instead of the flowers.  It looked really cute, too.  (Be careful when mailing the wooden shapes, though.)
