May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

It's that time again!  The Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  If you've just arrived here from {Maria's Blog}, welcome!

If this is your first time on the Blog Hop, you hop from blog to blog, checking out what 50 talented Close To My Heart Consultants have done with the same stamp set.  It's very inspiring!  At the end of this post will be a link to the next blog.  Happy Hopping!

This month's Stamp of the Month is called Pinwheel, and is very cute!  If you haven't seen the stamp set yet, here it is:

It reminds me of summer and pinwheels we made from paper and a straw

Here's my one of my creations with this stamp set.  It's a 6x6 card.  The big green pinwheels are Cricut Artiste shapes.  The smaller pinwheels I cut out by hand.

I cut out two of the 'fins' on the blue pinwheel.  It makes it look different.  I like it with more of the green showing through.

The "thanks" are cut with the Cricute Artiste, using Clementine paper.  I love that paper pack.

I also used a lot of Foam Mounting Tape - under pretty much everything.

If you want to get your own Pinwheel stamp set - you can buy it for $17.95, or get it for $5 with your $50 order.  Did you know May is National Scrapbooking Month?  There's a great special, check out my website for details on how to get your hands on some gorgeous paper during May with your qualifying order.

Later Sk8tr Birthday Card

I love the LATER SK8R paper pack.  It's the "boy" one in the Spring/Summer Catalog.

I was inspired by Christine Adams's card.  I love the little touches she includes - the Epoxy Bubbles on top of the poles...

Recently I stopped making so many bumpy cards.  As much as I love bumpy embellishments (like the Green-Blue Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806, $3.95 for 108 bubbles that Christine used),  the post office is so fussy now about what they will send through the mail, the cards don't always arrive intact.  I've been using less of them, but haven't eliminated bumpy all together.  This is my variation.  I used a lot of Foam Mounting Tape.

We're making this "Oh Happy Day" card this month (Thursday and Friday, April 25 & 26) at card class.  Let me know if you want to join us!

Here's the layout that CTMH designed.

Stamp Pads:  Lagoon and Pear.
Card Stock:  White Daisy and Outdoor Denim
Stamp Set:  Included with Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

Hope you make something fun with this paper pack!

The Happy Couple Wedding Card

It's spring, and love is in the air.  I recently made a card with The Happy Couple stamp set:

I liked the card that they put in the catalog...

But I hate to copy 100%...so this is what I came up with:

I used Slate, Black and White Card Stock.

I love the little details on this card...the swirly Sparkles Clear Flourishes - Small (Z1812, $4.95)
and tiny paper flowers from the White Daisy Variety Pack (retired).
I embellished the flowers with the Bitty Opaques Pearl Adhesive Gems (Z1707, $2.95).
I think they make a nice addition.

The boxes I stamped with Versamark (Z891, $9.95) and embossed them with CTMH's Silver Embossing Powder (love it!) and cut them out.  (Z669, $3.95)

I also used puffy tape for the bells.

Now it's your turn to copy!  :)
