More About Me

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  My name is Lisa Sargent, and I am a Close To My Heart consultant in Newcastle, Washington.  I also sell Thirty-One Gifts, (they sell really cute purses, bags and organizational stuff)

I've been making cards for about 13 years; for 10 of them I have been using Close To My Heart's papers and stamps.  Close To My Heart has been around for 30 years and I love how gorgeous their stamps and papers are...and that they put a lot of thought into every one of their products.  About a year after I started making cards, I told my husband that "I think this is what I was supposed to do."  It's wonderful when you can "do what you love and love what you do."  Not everyone is so fortunate as I am.  Let me show you how to make beautiful cards and scrapbook pages!

My scrapbooking has been sporadic.  I scrapbooked in high school (that means, ages ago) and again after the kids were first born.  Lately, I have been making mini-scrapbooks for friends and family.  I have a few "big" scrapbooks, but in the last few months, I have been scrapbooking using Studio J, Close To My Heart's digital/online scrapbooking program.  (You can even try it for free!)  I love how I can upload my digital pictures onto virtual scrapbook pages, and the layouts are already dressed up with paper and embellishments.  I also love that I don't have to print out my photos beforehand or figure out how big to print them.  Try it...there's no upfront cost.  You can play with it, and if you like what you created, you can buy your pages.  Beautiful!  Easy!

If you want to see more about my art, upcoming events or Close To My Heart specials, check out my the Upcoming Events tab.

You can reach me at lisa@lisasargent.NET or by telephone at 425.941.3135 if you have questions.

I also can come to your house and share scrapbooking and stamping (and Close To My Heart) with you and your friends.  Hostesses earn free goodies, so that's great!  If you're thinking about becoming a consultant, I can answer questions about that, too.  It's all good.  :)

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
