Using Up (more) Paper Scraps

I'm back from the Close To My Heart convention in Washington, DC. It was SOOOO fun, and I can't wait to share all the (currently) top secret goodies with you in the coming months!

I got this card created by fellow consultant, Deb Okuley, in a swap this week. It shows you yet another way to use up your little scraps of paper! I love how I can just pull anything out of a paper pack and it coordinates. Makes creating faster, simpler and easier!

Also, if you look closely, you can see Deb added Liquid Glass to her piece of card stock. Also, she used the Sponge Dauber with Smokey Plum ink to distress all the edges. They are subtle additions, but add a lot!

SUPPLIES USED:
Bella Paper Pack (X7114B, $12.95)
A Little Everything Stamp Set (D1408, $22.95)
Smokey Plum Stamp Pad (Z2147, $5.25)
Liquid Glass (Z679, $6.95)
Sponge Daubers (Z726, $3.95 for a set of 3)
Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon (Z1102, $6.95)
Colonial White Brads (Z1218, $4.95)
Just Blooms Autumn Daisy (retired)
Glue Dots (1772, $7.50)

If you want to learn these and other fun techniques, come to a card class! Next ones are
Friday, July 16 at 6:30pm
Thursday, July 22 at 10:00am
Friday, July 23 at 6:30pm

Email, call or check out my website for more info! I'd love to see you.

I love the idea to make liquid glass dots on the plain cardstock! I would have never thought about doing it but it's super cute!
