Missing you...

Sorry, I've been absent so long.  It's been crazy, with family issues and holidays.  I am sorry!  :(

Here's something fun with the Lucy Workshop on the Go kit.  You may not have even noticed them.  In the current Spring/Summer Idea Book, in each section of the new 8 "featured" paper packs, there's a Workshop On The Go.  It includes a full paper pack (in this case, Lucy), an exclusive (not available on its own or elsewhere in the Idea Book) stamp set, 2 Colonial White sheets of card stock, Lucy Glittery Rub Ons, Bittly Sparkles, Instructions on how to make a 4 page scrapbook layout!  AND you get to save money doing it!  (See page 31)

You know I love flowers...especially flower with the "inside" and the "outside" on the stamps.  I like to be able to stamp the color on the flower petals, because I am too lazy to color them in my hand.  And now with the Close To My Heart AP Cricut cartridge, I can cut out the flower, and stamp the outline, without coloring or stamping the inside.  LOVE it!

This card uses the Lucy paper pack and color combinations:

But I love this different color combo - less girly...almost masculine.  ALMOST, since flowers are never masculine....

The faint words on the card are made lighter with second generation stamping.  A fun technique, you should try it some time!  (Ink up your pad, stamp your image on a scratch paper, stamp your image on your project.)
